- Fight for unrestricted rights, protections and freedom for the LGBTQ+ community.
- Fight against bans or restrictions that, for example, would keep LGBTQ+ identities out of classrooms or prevent trans youth from receiving the full spectrum gender-affirming care as established by virtually every major medical association in America.
- If we support candidates or causes, they must fully share our values and reflect those values in office, including votes for or against leaders of a legislative body who could either be a help or hindrance to LGBTQ+ rights.
- Embrace the intersectionality of our issues, such as protecting reproductive freedom, ending racial and gender disparities, and establishing that housing and healthcare are fundamental human rights.
- Lean into opportunities to collaborate with groups and organizations that share our values.
- Lead with mutual respect and allow those with whom we disagree to have a dignified off ramp from wherever they are to supporting our cause.
- We may take breaks from the front lines from time to time, but we never, ever give up.
